Hello world!

Hope everyone is as well and safe as they can be during these unique times. In an attempt to assist the medical field with all of the incredible work they’re putting in, the band is selling shirts (and sweet mugs) with 100% of the profits being donated to The American Red Cross. The items’ design stems from our song, “Good News,” which was actually made last year (before this pandemic, so we are definitely not making light of where we are now). It essentially promotes the idea that, while there is certainly a time and place for the “negative/hard-truth news,” our world has WAY more good news to offer that hardly hits the headlines (I guess stations don’t think it sells…).

With our temporary new normal, and social media connecting the world more essentially now than ever, we’re actually seeing tons of incredible and positive stories posted online. Examples include insightful “how-to” videos (like making homemade masks), singing with neighbors from balconies and windows to raise spirits, studies of an overall environmental health boost, and people simply attempting to put a little smile on humanity’s face right now. Again, these acts of positivity have been going on forever, but it’s good to see these stories showcased a bit more on larger platforms for a change.

The design printed on the shirts and mugs is simple, but meaningful: it’s a TV camera with 3 flowers intertwining its tripod and blooming at its top. The meaning comes from a line in our song:

“Those cameras have power, your voices they tower, your seeds could be flowers instead of weeds and vines.”

Basically, newscasts have the power to share good news with everyone and promote positivity (flowers), rather than sell negative news (weeds and vines).

The shirt is a thank you to all that are shining some light on others during these darker times. Don’t stop! The ripple effect is wildly powerful when it comes from genuine positivity.
